GTA V Rockstar Editor Coming to Xbox One and PS4 in September
Rockstar Games is eyeing on overhauling Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online one month from now with the Rockstar Editor.
Take-Two Interactive Software, the mother company that owns Rockstar Games, has mentioned that “GTA 5” has reached another milestone of having more than 54 million copies sold worldwide.
The development team is also encouraging gamers to continue to deliver details on the solid jobs that they have created so that they can be showcased to the entire Online community created around GTA V.
“This update will also bring with it some new features for the Rockstar Editor that will be available for all three platforms including PC, along with some exciting new gameplay for GTA Online Freemode that we’ll be sharing more about in the coming weeks”, Rockstar said on in its website.
Rumors from the start of 2015 suggested that GTA V was due to receive a major single player focused content drop, but the success of Online might mean that the developers are delaying it in order to make sure that they keep the players happy.
Ambient Audio and Sound Effects Library – Add ambient and atmospheric sound design with a library of audio tracks to help bring your scenes to life or add sound effects from a collection of Foley and other sfx. Aside from that, the game’s publisher indicated that any future Rockstar Editor contests will include submissions from PCs and consoles. In addition, Snapmatic Integration is also going to be included and with it, still frames can be sent directly to Snapmatic.
Director Mode Updates: An enlarged minimap with location blips to highlight preset locations, the power to freeze chosen time of day settings and the ability to spawn air and water vehicles. Finally, several new fonts are going to be arriving along with the September update and existing fonts are going to get a number of new styles.
